2024 Fall Color
Autumn Landscape Photography Workshop
Overview:
Join us to experience the splendor of fall in Southwest Colorado. As summer winds down, a stunning transition begins as vast groves of Aspen trees show off their signature golden glow and the first snows of the season dust the highest peaks.
It's been our family tradition to visit every year during this magical stretch of peak fall color and we can't wait to guide you to some of our favorite locations.
Whenever possible, we will strive to include iconic shooting locations such as Owl Creek Pass, Silver Jack Reservoir, Dallas Divide, Ophir, Silver Pick Basin, the San Juan Scenic Byway, Kebler Pass, Ohio Pass, the Curecanti National Recreation Area, Crested Butte, Telluride, and many other hidden favorites.
What to expect:
We start every trip with a friendly meet and greet so you can get to know us and the people in your group. After an introductory orientation, we will take a look at expected weather conditions, and discuss our initial plans and shooting opportunities.
A typical day will begin with an early morning or sunrise shoot to capture the first light of day, then we will likely wander into one of the nearby mountain towns for refreshments and lunch with a little local flare. Our fall trips tend to have a relaxed, vacation-like feel. We want you to enjoy everything the season has to offer including outstanding photo opportunities, short hikes, exploring cozy mountain towns, and friendly conversation at fun locations along the way.
